Fair point Ginny, but in Harry's defense, no one would be able to change the habits of a lifetime over night. Like Ron, I think sometimes Ginny's anger is overblown. I LOVED the interview and observation scene. I thought it was so blatant yet so subtle the way Valerie has a grudge against Mrs. Vane. I also enjoyed how easily you put personality in all the other Aurors within a single scene. Its nice to see Dawlish portrayed as something more than incompetent for a change, as well. He is an Auror, after all.
Author's Response: Thank you! Ginny will get over it. Her insecurities got the best of her, which isn't too surprising given the year she has had. Dawlish has his limitations, but even Dumbledore acknowledged that he was intelligent.

Great to see a new chapter! Quite the twist at the end! Romilda sending Harry clues knowing she was in danger perhaps? The questioning sure turned out interesting! Me thinks something was very stinking rotten in the state of Hogwarts!

I love the plot twist and all the chapter in general, but my favourite part is the bit about the decontaminator. PRICELESS!!!

Give harry some credit, old habits die hard, and Ginny has a few of her own, but then again harry has been know to think longer and see all the angles and eventually get to the right place.....kutgw

Woah great chapter. Harry had better realize Ginny isn't some little wallflower who needs to be sheltered and protected all the time.
