Ah harry thinks outside the box more often then not. Sometimes if you don’t have all the info it makes it harder to play ball.... kutgw

Author's Response: Harry is pretty good at figuring things out, and he'll get the rest of the information pretty quickly now that he's on the right path. The Greengrass sisters will have a lot to do with that in the next chapter. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I wouldn't mind non-essential chapters ). Good work though, every chapter so far brings in interesting perspectives or adds to the plot. I certainly like your take on characters.

Author's Response: That's good to know. I am considering of posting some related one-shots. One would be Ginny at the battle. (I'd skip the Draco chapter because why write Bellatrix if one does not need to do so.) The other is the friends touring the renovated 12 Grimmauld Place for the first time. Originally that was supposed to be in chapter 32, but having now written chapter 32, it doesn't really belong there. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

Houston we may have a breakthrough! Appears to have been an imposter at the ball! I hope whoever hurt Romilda is caught soon and hung by his gonads or what he put Romilda through! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Author's Response: We definitely have a tricksy little murderer who knows how to work with people’s assumptions. Luckily they got a bit overconfident. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I’m so glad that Harry is able to get back on the case and that he was able to sit in on that interview. I wonder what that last question was though??? I have a weird thought of twin sister that died and was reborn like Voldemort 😂. Maybe just transfiguration like Hermione did on Ron in Deathly Hallows though 🤣.

Romilda’s diary! I can’t get over how terrified she must of felt. If only she knew how much Ginny really understood.

It is interesting how involved this killer is in Ginny. Planning from school to frame Harry before Voldemort is even dead.

Can’t wait to read more ❤️

Author's Response: We will get an answer to Harry’s question in two chapters (as Astoria narrates the next one). It could be twins returning from the dead (love that theory!), it could be transfiguration. We will see! :) Ugh, I definitely feel guilty about what I have done to Romilda. :( Thanks for reading and reviewing!

First off - Ron's "just another Tuesday at the office" line made me snort my tea on my computer, lol

Now, this was a great chapter, full of intrigue. I like your version of Gawain, and I liked that he both called Harry to task and took responsibility for his own actions. How freaky for this Evelyn Gillespie to see a photo of "herself" in the paper knowing it wasn't her. A sister, of course, would know about the dress robes she had made. Hmm. I love a good mystery, and I'm thrilled to here you have this one done now in first draft form.

Sorry we won't see Ginny seeing Harry during the battle - I do so love missing moments - but I'm eager to see where this one goes now!

Author's Response: Well, I think being Harry’s best mate for seven years has made Ron’s standards for shocking news a bit higher than the average person’s. :) Yes, very creepy for Evelyn. She’s in for quite a surprise when she learns the explanation. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Oh, it's good to have Harry back on the case! I can understand completely how he was scared that he was in serious jeopardy of losing his job for not bringing up the notes someone sent him and I applaud the fact that he had the foresight to keep them, even if his first instinct might have been to dismiss them as something trivial, even though they were disturbing.

I think you'll find it funny that I'm playing detective of my own, now that you've mentioned all the clues are there for the finding. So... I'm starting from the very beginning and reading the story one chapter at a time and color coding what I think might be the clues. I've already found all the mentions of the letters, and their delivery owls. Now to go snooping for your other clues!

Well done for making me really look at your story, rather than just read and enjoy it.

Author's Response: Oh, I love that! There are definitely clues, but my main characters aren’t the best at spotting them. And the more experienced Aurors are missing things that should have caught their interest.
