What a fantastic chapter! I like how Harry and the Aurors were figuring out at the same time as the girls, although the Ministry is bollocks at protection, obviously. That doesn't bode well. So... does this mean Blaise Zabini is now master of the Elder Wand? Of all the Aurors Harry could be trapped with, it's good that it's Neville. He'll know of some obscure plant that can save them, lol.
Author's Response: Unfortunately I think Blaise would be master of the Elder Wand! The Ministry always has been pretty low
security. Harry and his friends were able to just waltz in during his fifth year, so this is nothing new. :) thanks for reading and reviewing!

Well... now I understand what chapter twenty-seven was all about! In all my clue-searching endeavors, I never put it together that Blaise was in cahoots with his mum and most likely trying to get to Harry through Ginny and the other rape victims. Oh, this is one clever mystery. I loved Harry's instincts to try to protect Ginny at the same time he's trying to contribute to the senior Aurors' investigation. I wonder if Harry and Neville have had enough training in non-magical combat to take Blaise by surprise and reclaim their wands. Well done!
Author's Response: Well, I think getting to Harry was just a perk. He had no intention of murdering Romilda at Hogwarts, so the Harry rumor was mostly because it was impossible to disprove given that no one knew where he was (while boys at Hogwarts could be proven innocent with an alibi). When Delilah found out about about Romilda’s pregnancy, that’s when the plotting began in earnest and Harry became an easy scapegoat with a few rumors sent to various gossip columnists. Not much doubt now that the murderers are Blaise and his mom! I suspect they murdered poor Romilda to keep her from having the baby which could be connected to Blaise or to be sure Romilda didn't remember him raping her! Bad move tho on Blaise's part holding a wand on Harry! He'll pay and hopefully so will mommy! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
