oh men!!! your James Sirius got red hair

Author's Response: Yes, I try to stick to canon as much as possible but in this case, the character made much more sense if he was red haired... it’s a darker shade in any case. Thanks for reviewing!

A wonderfully sensitive portrayal of the birth of a first child. You play up Harry’s penchant for saving people and show his frustration at not being able to save Ginny from the pain well. I love the pep talks Ginny gives herself, even if the ones Harry tries fall flat on their faces. Love James’ way of greeting his dad… classic baby boy fashion. Harry should have remembered this from changing Teddy! Well done!

Author's Response: Thanks for your wonderful review! At work I saw this kind of reaction from new fathers to be: frustration for not being able to help their women in a situation they felt responsible of. I imagined in Harry’s case this reaction would be even worse. Also, women frequently bite the head off their partners while they are in delivery, not literally 😂 I truly think that if witches existed they should not be allowed a wand while delivering 😆 At this point, Harry’s quite the expert changing babies, but it’s his first kid, and he forgets precautions in the excitement of meeting his son. Also, I wanted James to prove himself like a true Marauder straightaway, to give some background to Ginny choosing Sirius as middle name.

Such a wonderfully touching and funny story! James Sirius certainly proved he was descended from marauders! Reminded me a lot of my first born's arrival - my daughter! Can't help but wonder if Rose is who Ron and Moines' daughter is named for? :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Author's Response: When I made up Rose's character, no matter how many names did I search, I always came back to Rose. 'Rose O'Reilly 'has a certaing ring, so I eventually gave her that name. And then, yes, in my head Rose Granger Weasley is named after her -perhaps Rose is also Hermione's mother's middle name, so she would be named after both of them. I've yet to decide, but yes, in my head Rose O'Reilly becomes a great influence in Hermione's life. I'm honoured that this reminds you of your personal experience. I tried to give the story some authenticity based on my own ones and what I saw at work. Births can be very emotional affairs. I think these characters, because of what they have lived, would experience some emotional shake as well, due to their past traumas. Hope i've done it well. Thanks a lot for your increible review!
