It's good to see Harry was a little angry at Hermione having spied on him. I'm glad the anger wasn't out of control, and it sucked that he did (or almost did) relapse. I don't know what it is, maybe I'm a hopeful masochist, but I love seeing the pain/torture Harry had to go through only to come out on the other side better than he was before. It allows him, I think, to look back on the events and realize how lucky he is, especially with Ginny by his side.

Lovely chapter =)

Author's Response: You are absolutely right about Harry having to suffer a little in order to realize how lucky he is to have friends looking out for him, no matter how aggravating their actions are. Hermione meant well, but she really should have just asked him if he'd made a new friend. So, yes, Harry did momentarily relapse, but he had learned from past experience and realized that the anger and other negative feelings were what fueled the curse. Now, he will use that knowledge to help himself heal. Glad you liked the chapter.

Ah, love. Perfect. Glad he rehabbed the house, although I hope there's still some of Sirius there (you know I'm Siriusly Obsessed).
Just lovely. MNF

Author's Response: You know that Harry would never completely erase Sirius from the house. Someplace, there is a bit of preserved Padfoot that he just couldn't get rid of. Besides, it wouldn't feel right for Harry to eliminate him completely. Also, it's about time Harry and Ginny start falling in love. Thanks for reading.

I don't really understand why you make Harry clueless about football. He went to an English primary school; there is no way he hadn't played and watched football a ton before he went to Hogwarts.

The dialogue in this story seems a stilted and unnatural at points. It can be hard to get into the story because of that.

I still like this story overall. The premise is interesting.

Author's Response: I made Harry clueless about football because even though he went to a Muggle primary school, he really didn't participate in the sport, mostly because Dudley prevented him from participating in one way or another. Imaging the two boys out on the pitch together during gym class. If Dudley is within taunting distance, he's going to be goading Harry, and will have his mates push Harry down or do something to prevent the other children including Harry in their play. By the time Harry reached Hogwarts, he had no interest in Muggle sport because Quidditch was so much more dynamic a game for him... even if Dean tried his best to get his room mates interested in the game. As for the dialogue, many of these early chapters are recollections or deal with topics that are difficult for the characters to talk about and sometimes they come across as stilted because of the emotions involved. I hope you keep reading and reviewing this story. Thanks.

I recently found this story and I'm really enjoying reading it! The whole Ginny is a muggle is different and not something I've read before. I love how Harry and Ginny's relationship is progressing it's so sweet! This last paragraph was so sweet and I loved reading it! Thank you for writing!

Author's Response: You are certainly welcome. When I decided to write another Harry/Ginny story, I knew I needed a new angle from which to explore their relationship. Like you, I had not seen a Muggle!Ginny story and knew it would be fun to research what Rowling said about the Statute of Secrecy. I'm glad you like the story. It's been fun making changes to the Weasley family due to the fact that I've kept so many of the original characters magical. I post on Mondays, so you won't have to wait long for another chapter. Thanks for reading and letting me know you like the story.

Thanks so much for the plug!! This is one of my favorites, too. I loved him blowing up at Hermione (still!) and setting some boundaries. It also shows his healing in that he's reclaiming part of his life. I never doubted that Ginny wouldn't care about his scars, but the scene was done so touchingly. Well done!!

Author's Response: The plug is the least I can do for all the help you've given me on this story. Thanks for reading the completed chapters and letting me know what is working in the story.

Can't blame Harry being angry at Mione and Poppy for spying on him but good they were able to explain things to him! Ginny's visit
to Grimmauld was to me a pivotal moment in their relationship! Helped alot that she wasn't turned off by his scars! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
(I occasionally watch British FA football or soccer as it's called here on the telly in the States!) :

Author's Response: You're right about Ginny's visit because it's the point at which Harry has decided he can trust her explicitly with his secret of being a wizard and you know that full disclosure isn't far away. She just brings him too much happiness. Hermione is having a hard time giving up her exclusive access to all things Harry, now that Ginny is in the picture. She still thinks that because she dedicated herself to helping him get well, she can do anything she deems necessary (i.e. spying) to get the job done. After his blow-up, I think she now knows her boundaries. Thanks for reading. I enjoy your reviews and look forward to next week's.

Wonderful chapter. They are obviously meant for each other.

Author's Response: That they are, and eventually, because this is a romance, they will be. Thanks for reading and letting me know what you think.

This was a great chapter with some interesting theories about Harry's health issues.
Oh, Harry. Stay calm. Hiding good news from close friends is almost as bad as looking after friends if you think something is wrong, instead of simply asking them what's going on, lol.
It's a good sign that Harry is inviting Ginny to his home. Let's hope Harry has hidden all pictures of himself riding a broom and all other magical paintings, lol. Or does he plan to tell Ginny the whole truth?

Author's Response: At the moment, Harry is doing his best to hide his magic from Ginny, mostly because it's so new and he's afraid of both the Statute of Secrecy and Ginny's reaction. He did remove the photos and paintings from the "public rooms" in his house for this first visit, but Ginny has picked up on a lot of anomalies, too: she just hasn't said anything yet because she's too focused on Harry right now. Speaking of whom, Harry has learned from his anger and subsequent bleak thoughts. He will eventually learn what Dumbledore has always purported: speaking of something is much better than keeping it to yourself. It's a hard lesson for Harry to learn, but he's slowly learning, I think. You'll see what he does in the next few chapters. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts.

I love Harry breaking the matching into Gryffindor and Slytherin! My nephews love Arsenal, they even traveled down to North Carolina to watch them play one time (I guess they have a few matches in the US every year).
I don't blame Harry for being so angry at Hermione and Madam Pomfrey. There are a million other ways Hermione could have explained what they'd done and she didn't 'need' to know the reason for his rapid improvement - she's nosy as hell. I realize she must have been dying to know what was going on, but that's why people talk to their friends. I can see why Harry wouldn't tell Hermione anything about Ginny, he gets little privacy as it is. I can understand that Hermione and his other friends saved his life (after he saved theirs), but that doesn't mean she gets to know every detail of his life forever. He needs to be able to reclaim his life without her interference. That to me is the most frustrating part, she didn't even try to talk to him or ask him anything, she went right to spying on him because she 'needs' to know.
I'm glad that Ginny was able to break the last of Voldemort's spell. That was beautifully done! I love the relationship you've built between Harry and Ginny. She would never turn him away because of his scars.

Author's Response: Since Ginny doesn't know Harry's magical, it's hard for them to do things he wants to do, so they end up doing Muggle activities that they both end up enjoying. The football match was definitely fodder for a magical comparison and a way for Harry to remember Dean without getting maudlin. You're right that Harry had every right to be angry at Hermione for interfering in his romance with Ginny. However, I'll say this: because she's been the equivalent of his mother for so long, she thinks she's entitled to know "everything," even if she isn't. She knows that Harry doesn't need her as keenly as he once did, and she's struggling with the change from caregiver back to friend. There's still a lot of the story to go and some very good reasons for why Hermione is so clingy. All will be revealed in time, even the last vestiges of Voldemort's spell. I'm glad you think the scene between Ginny and Harry in Grimmauld Place was beautiful. Thanks for reading.

It was amazing! I enjoyed it very much since it explored a lot of my personal favourite topics :)

Author's Response: Oh, good! I'm so glad this chapter made you happy. Thanks for reading. See you next Monday.
