Oh dang, I thought Harry waking up was a flashback from when he defeated Voldemort because it was in Italics. Good to see he actually woke up though. I see he kind of botched that Obliviate attempt, and the real memories are seeping through from Ginny's dreams. Hopefully she figures it out and they meet back up. I can actually see Harry donating money to Ron because he still loves Ginny. He feels like since they can't be together, he'll still take care of her, inadvertently, through Ron, and the rest of her family.

Author's Response: You're the first person since this story was published to tell me that I hadn't ended the Italics at the end of the previous section. Harry's waking up was definitely a "real life" occurrence in this story. It was time for Harry to wake. Not only because it's been a month, but because his body has regenerated his magic reserves to where they were at Christmas. That's why he could keep hold of his accidental magic and not blow the hospital to kingdom come when he experienced the final battle. As for what caused his coma, Harry underpowered the spell, so it didn't take hold very well in Ginny's mind. You'll have to keep reading to find out what happens with her. You are right about how Harry hopes that Ginny will have a clue that he still loves her when he starts helping Ron. Thanks for the review.

This story has improved so much! I really want to see Harry and Ginny talk for the first time after all of this. Can't wait for more updates.

Author's Response: I'm glad you think I've improved the story. Since this is a romance, I won't have Harry and Ginny go their separate ways at the end, but the road to reconciliation may be a bit bumpy in future chapters. I always update on Mondays, so the next chapter won't be too far away. Thanks for reading.

Hooray for Harry being all right! I'm sorry - I didn't mean to stress you out with my comment!! Harry is way more generous than Ron probably deserves, but I still like to see the connection there. I liked Harry driving around and getting some freedom - like flying - and I really enjoyed him standing up to Hermione. She means well, but sometimes she needs a check.

Author's Response: You didn't stress me out with your comment. You simply pointed out that being vague with the details of his awakening might lead readers to the wrong conclusion. I didn't want that to happen, so I made a note of it for my readers. As for Harry, he's learned to do quite a few things in this story, especially riding a bicycle and learning to drive which are both speed-related and the next best thing to flying. I think he's trying to cram all the things he didn't learn as a child into a year of adulthood so that he can do them for the rest of his life. That goes for standing up to Hermione, too. Maybe she'll leave Harry alone now that she has Neville to calm her down! Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Well Iā€™m glad hermione is starting to see the way harry is seeing things, and harry is making progress but he still needs to get to Ginny and talk to her again.... kutgw

Author's Response: I agree whole-heartedly with you on all points. Keep reading... all will be well by the time the story ends in five more chapters! Thanks for reading.

As you do each week, great job! I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for them meeting up again.

Author's Response: You may have to wait a chapter or two for the reunion. Ginny's a bit slow on the uptake when it comes to accepting magic and eventually getting back with Harry, but since I'm a romantic at heart, know that I do intend for them to get back together. It just might take a while! Thanks for reading.

What a lovely update! It's nice to see Harry getting better and getting his life going. And setting boundaries. This was such a refreshing chapter after all the sadness. I'm hoping to see some reconnection soon. Thank you for the update!

Author's Response: Harry waking up happy and mentally well-adjusted was the turning point for the story. There may be some ups and downs before we get to the end, but things are looking up for all of our favorite characters. Thanks for reading and writing to me.

Nice to see Harry back in the saddle doing normal things! (The Vauxhall was a nice choice- working the clutch is the trickiest par of driving a stick!) Nice of him to help Ron out who seems to be growing up! No surprise his company's owner was a crook! Poppy was a big help to Harry - she's always taken good care of him Ginny and Harry obviously need each other - knowing you I'm looking forward to how you get them back together!! Those goblin names you came up with are a real hoot! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Author's Response: Years ago, when my husband tried to teach me to drive a stick shift, I had a miserable time with left turns, so Harry, in his inexperience with a manual transmission, did all the things I did and wished he could get back to Grimmauld Place making only left turns! You're right about Ron growing up. He really needed the jolt of losing his job to put his life into perspective. Harry helping him out with his student loans is setting him on a path that will be revealed in the next few chapters. This is also part of my getting Harry and Ginny back together because they really do need each other. I'm glad you like my goblin names. Half the fun of writing those scenes was deciding what to name the goblins! Thanks for reading. See you next week!

Harry is certainly keeping himself busy! It's nice that he's trying to help Ron. I would have been in much more trouble than Harry with a manual car - never learned how to drive stick.

I can't wait to see what you have in store for how Harry and Ginny reconnect. I'm honestly surprised he's doing as well as he is. Being with Ginny is definitely helping him become more independent. I think it will take Hermione a bit of time to realize that.

Author's Response: Years ago, my husband had two manual transmission vehicles which he tried to teach me to drive. I would have been very happy if I could have gone everywhere making only right turns, so I sympathize with Harry! He's doing so well because he knows he had Ginny's love for six months and is still hoping to have it for much longer. Just the knowledge of her love is keeping the effects of the spell at bay so that he's really enjoying being alive. As for Hermione, she has Neville as her significant other, so she's not as prone to hovering as she might have been if he wasn't in the picture! Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts. See you next week.

I'm so glad he's back to normal (or at least a normal where he can move around) so soon! Loved the car purchase and Ron's POV, it was refreshing to see Ginny's view as well, the way she recollected and it's explanation was cleanly crafted! Awaiting more :)

Author's Response: I agree it's nice to have Harry out and about and enjoying life. I think I wrote the car purchase because it's a different way of being independent and is also a reminder of his time with Ginny. Ron still has a few rough moments to come, but things will start looking up for him soon. The magic of Harry's spell is wearing off gradually and allowing Ginny the luxury of discovering it on her own. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
