You layed it on thick with the romance huh? Sometimes, romance feels awkward or forced to me but maybe I'm just not that romantic, idk. lol I prefer subtle romance myself, but it was still well written regardless. I'm glad they finally met back up and seem to be on the mend. I hope she gets the ring back that she threw at Harry when they fought.
Author's Response: I did because I'm a romantic at heart. After all they've been through, these two needed to get back together so the story can end! Thanks for reading.

Arnel, I am sorry about your husband's brain cancer but hang in there. I am the eldest of 3 brothers and both my younger brothers are gone from cancer. Today was 14 years since our middle brother passed away from brain cancer, which he fought for 17 years before it got him! He was a medical doctor and a real fighter. Please know that you are both in my prayers! AOTL :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Author's Response: Thank you for the words of encouragement. Sometimes, in the midst of all the doctors' appointments, MRIs, and blood draws, when my husband procrastinates because he doesn't want to go, and makes us late, it's a bit overwhelming. Just knowing that others have lived that long with the disease gives me hope and I thank you for it.

Well zipadeedoodah! Harry and Ginny are back together at last - and very much in love! Her love even zapped the last of the Dark Dork's curse! And Harry is much healthier and vibrant! Joyous times are here again. Glad Hermoine and Ginny hit it off! Also happy for Ron and his new gig! Happy happy chapter! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Author's Response: Yes, it is a happy chapter and it was a happy one to write. There are only two more chapters, both ginormous because of all the loose ends that needed tying up. Those are happy, too. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Nice chapter! I'm wondering how Ginny is going to teller her family that her and Harry are back together. That'll be weird.
Author's Response: You'll find out how they tell the family in chapter nineteen. I don't think it'll be weird at all. It's not like she's going to call her mum and chat for a while and then drop the proverbial bomb, "Oh, by the way, Harry and I are back together!" That's just not her style. I'm glad you liked the chapter. Thanks for commenting.

Great job! The bright spot of my dreary mondays is this. If it doesn't win a DSTA again, I swear, half the voters must be blind.
Author's Response: Thanks for the vote of confidence. It would be nice to have the story win another DSTA, but I'll leave that up to the readers. I'm glad my story is a bright spot on you Monday. Thanks for reading.

Aw, what a wonderful reunion. Plus, I'm glad Ginny finally met Hermione...and, of course, that Voldemort's curse is broken. Harry is really living up when he's allowed to tell Ginny about his life.
I wonder if Ginny now also has to follow the Statute of Secrecy.
Author's Response: Harry and Ginny are meant to be together, to talk about what happened as adults should, and then forgive each other for their actions... that's a true reunion, I think. I also wanted Ginny and Hermione with Harry when he finally broke the curse. Having witnesses just makes what happens all the more memorable. You're right that Harry can now truly live his life without lies when it comes to Ginny. You'll learn more about the Statute (and what Harry does about it) in the next two chapters. Thanks for reading and sending me your thoughts.

It was an amazing chapter! Ginny and Harry are finally back- and it was in a way with both of them staying in character, nothing too extraordinary, but simply true, loved it! I liked Hermione and Ginny meeting, and the end part, him finally getting rid of the curse, was so well written, the last bit between Lily and Ginny was a nice touch to the chapter, giving it a wonderful end. See you next Monday!
Author's Response: You're right that had Ginny and Harry been anything but calm when they met, they would have been out of character. I'm glad you liked the part where Harry got rid of Voldemort's curse. It's sort of my way of marking the end of his illness and also a tribute to cancer patients. (When a cancer patient is pronounced in remission, they get to ring a bell. Because my husband has brain cancer, he will never get to ring the bell.) I wanted Harry to know he was Voldemort-free for certain, so I gave him the last burst of magic to break Voldemort's spell completely. I also gave Ginny Lily's approval so that she knew she was definitely welcome in the magical world Harry lives in. Thanks for reading.

I may be reading to much, into this but did you mean to imply that Ginny grandmother knew about magic and Gyfindoor

I may be reading to much, into this but did you mean to imply that Ginny grandmother knew about magic and Gyfindoor
Author's Response: Ginny's grandmother worked in a flower shop. She didn't know about magic or Gryffindor. What she did know was the Victorian meanings of flowers, what the Victorians used various flowers to say. For instance, if a young man was sweet on a girl, he might have sent her lavender roses telling her that he loved her at first sight. Or, if a couple had quarreled, the young man might send his love a bouquet of purple hyacinths (I'm sorry), white tulip (please forgive me), and yarrow (let's heal our differences). Anyway, Ginny learned these things from her grandmother and applied what she knew to the meaning of the flowers in Harry's garden. I hope this helps. Thanks for reading and writing to me.
