Honestly did not expect Moody to be on Harry's side. All too often you will see him firmly on Dumbledore's side in stories like this. So now I am intrigued as to how this will impact events. Wondering whether Harry will discover the Diadem while in the Room of Requirement as well.
Author's Response: I like to think that what happened in Harry's 4th year made Moody not quite so loyal to Albus, so he's a bit more independent now. He's still quite paranoid and you see that in his conversations with Bones. As for your last thought, I already know the answer since the first draft is complete. :)

I’m liking this Ginny. Going for what she wants but poor Ron is still a little immature - “she wants to steal my friends”!

I like how H/G are forging their "team"...ala Harry suggesting that Ginny ask Bill about Occlumency. Speaking of Weasley temper, I like how a year of solitude and contemplation has Ginny navigating her interactions with her parents. She is seeing the Big Picture for sure.

Interesting. Loved the chapter. I am excited to see a working and romantic relationship between Harry and Ginny which is what it should have been like in the original but was not. Really love your idea of doing this. I really wanted to read a fiction like this so thank you for presenting it to us.

Author's Response: I'm trying to show Harry as normal as I can, and being a little slow with girls at 15-16 is part of that. / If you want competitive, that would be "Ginny's Plan". / Yes, Luna, I had a hard time deciding how to let her show she knew without giving things away. / Moody understands, but he's also a little "off".
