Love this so far. I was wondering about the whole Lord's thing. Will the Wizengamont be made up only the sacred 28? Will the Weasleys have a position? Like in the books everyone kinda looks down on them so will it be the same? Can't wait to see what you have next.
Author's Response: There are a total of sixty-nine seats in the Wizengamot. 28 are of the Sacred 28 families. Then there are the families like Potter and Weasley. The Weasleys are looked down upon because they lost all their fortune and reputation at the hands of a Malfoy, they were tricked into it. They still have their seat but Arthur isn't interested in it since he has never had the head for politics. We'll ignore the sacred 28 now. There are the Ancient and Noble houses, Ancient Houses, and Noble Houses. The Weasleys are an Ancient House while the Ogdens are a Noble House. There is also Order of Merlin recipients and Ministry officials who have a seat. However, the Ministry official is dependent on their post, not on the person. Hope that helps. Terrific chapter! Loved all the reunions especially James and Lily with their kids and James, Lily and Sirius! Dumbledore ended up with a big omelet on his face while all his plans took a nose dive! Kudos to Amelia for all her trickery and nailing the real bad guys!
Vernon should thank his lucky stars he wasn't home when the Potters dropped by to get the kids or it might have gotten ugly for him!
