It's certainly sad and funny at the same time to watch those old memories. I hope Harry picked the right one for the ritual. Well, any memory will work for the ritual. It's more important that it works in the past. Lol.

Author's Response: I toyed around in the first draft with not including them looking back at the memory as a group, but ended up really liking the way it allowed them to explore some of the trauma they'd experienced and connect with each other.

One step closer to their goal! I love Harry and Luna's friendship in this story, and the way he supports her relationship. I really enjoyed them all reminiscing too. I can't wait to read more.

Author's Response: I liked sharing the memories, for sure. I've been trying really hard to write Luna well because she's so unique. I think it's easy to lean too hard into her quirks, but I hope her back-and-forth banter with Harry and Atzi keep her grounded as a character while retaining her beautifully idiosyncratic personality.
