Fantastic chapter! You had me giggling like a hyena over Ginny buttering up Percy. She reminded me of the speech Umbridge gave at the beginning of the school year in OotP. And then...she takes on Ron! Oh, she has figured being a little sister out to a T! I also thought it nice that she felt free to dance with other boys and that Harry isn't the jealous type: he seemed to know that spending time with Ron would be the best use of his time while his date was out dancing and helping to give others a good evening. However, what I liked best was the tag-team effort of both Harry and Ginny to help Neville and Susan feel good enough about dancing together that they're starting to have a good time. This is turning out to be a great experience for Harry in particular as opposed to the Yule Ball in canon. Well done.

Author's Response: You noticed so many things that I tried to pour extra effort into, which makes me feel great as an author! I definitely want Ginny's humor and willingness to stand up for what she believes in to shine through in this story, and this chapter gave some opportunities to make good on that. I smiled while I was writing Harry and Ginny helping Neville and Susan, so I'm glad others enjoyed it, too!
