The conversation with Luna was very enlightening. I loved it. Luna is always a bit enigmatic and often a bit difficult to write.
The same goes for the conversation with Dumbledore, at least the enlightening part, lol. Can't wait to find out what consequences all this will have for Sirius.
Good to know that Dumbledore had at least tried to ponder the significance of the memory. I'm looking forward to Harry finally confiding in his friends, especially Ginny. And somehow, I have a feeling they'll have more guesses as to why the future Harry sent that memory back and what it might imply.
Author's Response: Luna is perhaps the most challenging character for me to write. The combination of wisdom beyond her years, oddity, but still being so young makes it difficult to encapsulate her voice well. Glad you thought this one went well! Dumbledore's voice comes much easier to me than Luna's, but I'm still always nervous writing him because he's such a polarizing character. I like him a lot, even though I get why he's so disliked by so many. Trying to write him in a way that feels true to how I see his character without using rose-colored glasses has been tough, but I like how it's going so far. Nice to see the old dog has finally learned a new trick…took him long enough…as now we see how Harry handles privit drive again…I have a feeling that Sirius is going to be spending a lot of time there…kutgw
Author's Response: Yeah, Dumbledore has made some big mistakes before, but I'm not interested in him going through those again. It's time for everyone to make some new, exciting mistakes!
