I like the changes you made to this part of the story. It seems a lot calmer and a little less fraught with anxiety. While Petunia and Vernon seem to be on form, making Dudley seem a little more like a teenager than a thug is a nice change and seems to be a preamble to the leaving scene in DH. Moody made me laugh at his paranoia while Arthur's calm demeanor did wonders to help Harry stay calm, it seems. Well done. I liked this chapter a lot.

Author's Response: Thanks for your kind words! Dudley doesn't factor into my plans much, but I did hope that a small moment of growth contrasting with Vernon and Petunia's static characters might be a nice change of pace. Arthur has lived with eight people with varying levels of high-energy volatility, so I like to think his demeanor is part necessarily honed skill, part natural inclination. Big stuff coming next week, so I'll be interested to see what you think!
