I'm wondering how different OotP would have been if Harry had been this relaxed and happy. While he still has his moments with Umbridge, he has Ginny to counteract all the poisonous things the professor spews. Well done.
Author's Response: Yeah, his disposition change is a big deal to me, because I’m just not a fan of reading angst stuff, much less writing it. Having a better, more trusting connection with Dumbledore, Sirius being in a more healthy place as a parental figure and mentor, and having Ginny as a confidant and co-conspirator all make Harry’s life much better, leading to him being a more pleasant protagonist than he was during OotP at times. Well I can’t believe harry has learned the lesson so quickly, and I meant about umbitch….as for his Romeo run with Ginny, lets just say he is in a class on his own….then again with a little help from the future….nothing is going to be put passed him in that department….kutgw…PS watch out for hurricane hermione, she may come and kick your butt if she is to pissed off at what is happening with your writing of her and umbitch….(LOL)
Author's Response: Think Harry's a bit better adjusted and supported than he was in canon, so he's got a better chance to learn how to deal with Umbridge more quickly. Plus, he's got the incentive not to miss out on time with Ginny! Hermione is definitely upset with me about how I've changed some things she wishes hadn't changed (Sorry, Viktor!) and haven't changed other things (letting Umbridge come work at Hogwarts). I'll be on the lookout for a Howler from her any day now! Thanks for the comment!

Umbridge is frustrating, but I like you putting in the hypocrisy of her lying about harry. And cute ending. Always glad to see some harry and Ginny moments. And it seems like harry is finally going to tell her about the memory? That's good! Thanks for the chapter!
Author's Response: She's ultra frustrating. I've been watching how so many US politicians deny the reality of election results and claim to be the only ones telling the truth when they're just spinning lies upon lies upon lies. Umbridge is based on some of the most egregious examples of that. You're right that Harry is gearing up to share about the memory with Ginny. Wonder how that's going to go for them... More of Umbrige being rotten, but the time Harry and Ginny spent at breakfast was delightful.
