The Advanced Defense class sounds like quite the challenge. I'm sure Dumbledore and the other professors are designing it to surruptitiously help to prepare Harry for his upcoming battle with Tom Riddle. It also seems that Blaise will fit into the leadership of the Defense Club nicely and that he will bring unique perspective to the leadership. Finally, it looks like the Gryffindor Quidditch season is off to a good start, even if those chosen seem to be more average than exceptional. With some hard work, I'm sure Katie will make a cohesive team out of those she's chosen. Well done.
Author's Response: Yeah, Advanced Defense definitely serves as a Harry training program. It’s fun to write with that in mind but also trying to tailor to the other students’ needs. Having a Slytherin leader provides cool opportunities, and I’m liking Blaise more and more as I write for him. After Angelina’s maniacal fervor, it’s fun to have someone less intense as Captain. All any one needs is a little luck and it’s true in classes as well as quidditch….nice to see Blaise working well and helpful as well with info and receive it as well….kutgw. Poor harry he doesn’t throw anything enought….kutgw
