Fun little missing moment piece, very enjoyable. Interesting take to have Ron forwarding his own sister as Harry's match. not that I disagree you understand, but it was always played the opposite in the books with the defensive brothers stuff. I like this take.

Author's Response: Glad you liked it! If I'm honest with myself, you're right that this take on Ron doesn't fit his character in canon as well as it could, but supportive Ron is super fun to write. Thanks so much for leaving a comment!

Really delightful especially since it featured Hermoine & Ron! Good thing we all know who Harry and Ginny end up with! wink wink! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Author's Response: Thanks for the kind comment! It was fun writing from Hermione's perspective instead of Harry or Ginny like I normally do in Ritual of Love's Memory.

Well it that isn’t a push to get them together I don’t know what is…Ron did bring up some very good points and wouldn’t have known about hermione and harry talking about being brother and sister….kutgw

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! It's probably a bit out of character for who they are at that exact moment in the story and more true to who I want them to be, but it was still really fun to write!

What a great little story. It can't be mentioned enough that Ron was one of the first Hinny shippers. It's so easily to fall for the wrong portrayal of him shown so often in the fanon. In HBP, even Harry worried that Ron wouldn't like the idea, lol. Maybe that's one of the reasons Ron's portrayal is often inaccurate.

Author's Response: I completely get how Harry (and readers) might assume Ron was against the idea, but I'm totally on board with him crossing his fingers that they end up together. It's one of the reasons my other stories won't feature a lot of Ron upset about H/G angst: that just fits with my idea of who Ron is. Thanks for reading and dropping a review!

This was the perfect story to read while eating lunch. I think you captured Ron and Hermione beautifully and their conversation is easily imaginable for the situation. I'd love to read a conversation between Ron and Hermione after they learn that Cho stormed out of the tea room and left Harry sitting there because he mentioned needing to find Hermione. Oh, I really liked the hint that Ron was happy that Hermione didn't want to date Harry. Unfortunately, he's going to ruin his chances with her in sixth year according to canon. However, Hermione is right because Ron does need a bit more time to mature into someone who would be a good match for her. Well done.

Author's Response: Thanks for the encouraging review! I hadn't written from Hermione's perspective before, so I was trying to lean into a slightly different way of explaining the main character's thoughts. She's more observant in some ways, which gave me fun opportunities to describe details that might have been missed from Harry's perspective.
