Fantastic! I'm so glad I made it past that rough patch (for me) in the first chapter.
Author's Response: I am glad too! I know there was a lot of detail explination as the story began, but it was needed for context. Just like the additional conversations with Hermione were there specifically to build reader understanding. I am so glad you made it through and seemed to enjoy the ride. You almost lost me in the first chapter with all the details of the betting rules... but it's ultimately about Harry and Ginny, and I'm glad I persevered.

Quite the chain of events in the greenhouse and in the professor watch room! Cormac never fails to be a jerk and he is extremely lucky he didn't end up with a face full of Ginny's bat bogeys! I am in love with this story! I can’t wait to see how the harvest goes, and how long they bloom. There is so much potential in this story to highlight different parts of the story. I can’t wait to see how the flowers react to the break up, and the separation, and Harry dying… I just can’t wait!

Well hermione always needed to know what was gong on but in the end, I think she got more then she was expecting….as for Ginny and harry we all know what should be the outcome but will it be who knows…kutgw

Actually, I think she did know, it's just that the perpetrator of the setup was someone who in any other context would have been trusted. That can make even the most suspicious hesitant. Wow, that was a really compelling start! While I’ve certainly read stories with the professors gossiping about the young couples at Hogwarts, this seems to be something much more than that. From the dialog in the story, it seems that it’s a plant that is a rare and sought after potion ingredient when harvested/handled by a couple (possibly a young couple) who are truly in love with one another. I’m greatly looking forward to seeing where this goes! Truly a fantastic story idea that I don’t recall having read anything like before!

It was the idea that grabbed me from the beginning because it seemed so unlike what I expected to be the reaction to the Challenge topic. I am so looking forward to reactions to the rest of the story. It will go four parts in all, which I plan to post in one week increments. I do hope you will hang on for the ride.
