Title: Assigning Blame
Well nice to see that George is making some headway in grieving…also I don’t blame Mr. Brown but pushing was a little over the line…as for harry running it all he has ever done this year…kutgw
Author's Response: They're all slowly making their way through the grieving process, and it's definitely the hardest on George. Once the funeral is over, hopefully he'll be able to start feeling more like himself again! Totally agree, it's like I said in my author's note, I have a hard time blaming Mr. Brown for being mad and wanting someone to be angry at, but he took it way too far with Harry. And yep, Harry has spent far too much time running in the past year! At least he wasn't gone for months again!

Title: Assigning Blame
Wonder how Mr. Brown likes the taste of his own shoe leather?! Glad Harry went to Shell Cottage and Ginny found him! He got the right support he needed! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Author's Response: Haha Mr. Brown definitely deserved it! And absolutely, Harry getting that support from everyone is so important!!

Title: Assigning Blame
Bill and Fleur's participation - hooray!
Why do you think Harry thinks he should have met Voldemort sooner? (just discussing ?) After all, the sudden departure to Hogwarts was caused by a critical situation: Voldemort found out about the Horcruxes and rushed to check them. The war would have been instantly lost if the last Horcrux (except for the snake) had not been defended. During the first stage of the battle, Harry was just looking for this Horcrux and destroyed it. And then they immediately switched to the snake and the first stage of the battle was completed. Harry found out that he was a Horcrux and went into the forest. Harry couldn't go earlier, there was no point, since the work wasn't done yet, he already gave the snake to Neville to commit suicide and give others a chance.
Aligning text to the left seems more convenient to me :)
Author's Response: Thank you for letting me know about the alignment issue! It was all correct in my preview for posting, so I assumed it would be correct in the actual post. Some weird issue with the HTML formatting I think, so I've got a temporary fix in until I can mess with it more and figure it out.
Anyways, I think Harry feels that way because he's trying to find a way to justify his guilt. When he says he should've met Voldemort sooner, he's saying that he should've just given himself up and died, not destroyed the Horcrux in himself sooner. Logically, he knows that he did what he had to do and that everything worked so that there would be a brighter future for almost everyone, but he's trying to put the blame of everyone's deaths on himself instead of on the people who killed them. Based on what we know about Harry, it feels pretty in character to me. For example, he blamed himself for Cedric's death when it wasn't his fault at all. It's not logical, but his thought right after his panic attack was that if he'd just died before the Battle or even earlier, less people would've died. It's not true, obviously. There still would've been resistance to Voldemort and a lot more people would've died. The people around him are slowly trying to help ease him out of that guilt so that he accepts that he did what he had to do, but he's just not there yet.
