You did a great job showing the trauma and stress Harry was feeling. Keep up the great work and we'll see you on the 23rd. I can't believe he can't talk! And his magic is so strong, maybe it just feels that way because he's been out of the picture for awhile. I don't want to see him and Ginny separated ever again! Its so heart wrenching but I guess what will be will be. I can't wait to see what happens! Thank you for your dedication to this story! I, as one of your very faithful readers, greatly appreciate it! It's sad to see Harry so distraught, but it makes sense that he's living with a fair bit of shock. Ginny's good for him, though I hope whatever Voldemort has in store for her is pittance in light of her and Harry's combined powers. I also liked Ron's comparing Hermione's reaction to doing it to a House-elf. Heh, great imagery. Reviewer: gemz1313 Signed Date: 2006.06.13 - 04:25AM Title: Reconnecting Wow, fantastic chapter. I'm glad Harry is talking, even if it's only with Ginny there, I hope that he can start to heal so he can beat old moldieshorts and send him to his grave ~ because for some reason he's beginning to wind me up! I felt horrible when he fled from the light, but, of course, having been lost to the Shadow for 8 months, what else would he do? Well, at least he’s still determined (see gluing Ginny to the floor) and protective of Ginny (easing her nightmare in particular). I loved the moment where his black clothes were foreign to him but the good old hospital wing pajamas were familiar. That little line showed that while his body might have worn those clothes for many months, it really wasn’t Harry. I hate it that Stephen’s guilt drove him away. I’m sure Harry won’t let him get away with that for long. Remus talking to the Marauders gave me a good chuckle, of course. My favorite part hands down was simply Harry working so hard to say “missed you” to Ginny. If that wasn’t an understatement, I don’t know what was. He spent so long imprisoned in his mind thinking she was dead, I think “missed you” barely scratches the surface, but it was so heartfelt and honest. I adore that boy. I like the part you added at the end with Voldemort. Poor schlub doesn’t realize that he’s walking the prophecy’s path by going to the island, and that prophecy certainly doesn’t bode well for him. Good luck with the Silver Trinkets! I’m keeping my fingers crossed! Reviewer: SueP Signed Date: 2006.06.12 - 10:10PM Title: Reconnecting You do a great job of writing Harry as bent but not broken. I have a feeling Ginny really suffered without Harry, and now Voldy is coming after her and Stephen. UGH! I love this story. You just keep the chapters coming, it's amazing. | |||||||
