If this is how the chapters are going to be set out ie a bit of present and bit of past, then I think I'm going to love it. As a reader I don't think I could stand poor Harry continuously sufferig with no relief, so really appreciated the "good news" if you like in the first part of the chapter, but then going back to find out what happened in the immediate aftermath of the party.
You are certainly making Claire appear a nicer character, so it will be interesting to see what she makes of three wizards landing on Dudleys dining room table!
I really enjoyed the poem in the first chapter, but seeing as I know now that you wrote it, I'm going back to read it again.

I did a happy dance to see this here! I think one more chapter and I'll be caught up, I can't wait! I hated the fact he was back at the Dursleys, still do, lol! I can't wait for Harry's reunion with Ginny and his friends but I'm wondering what happened in between as well. Good stuff KEDme. I loved the scene on teh plane between Bill and Stephen, looking forward to more of them too. Poor Harry.
