Ginny's idea with the bonded necklaces is very prescient. I wonder how that "talking thing" and that "dream sharing thing" works; certainly, it is somehow connected to the necklaces. I suppose we will know soon.
The tight timetable is a considerable challenge. I hope that they do not bit off more than they could chew. How much sleep does a normal witch or a normal wizard need compared with a Muggle?
Urg, McGonagall, every time the two of them have a few minutes for themselves, surely someone will interrupt them. Life is hard but unfair. (Unlike McGonagall, who is always considered as hard but fair)

Author's Response: Professor McGonagall, like any prudent head of house, needs to know what's going on with her charges: she wouldn't be a good head of house if she didn't interrupt them on occasion. Thanks for reading.

Hope I didn't wake the rest of the house laughing so much at the fate of Professor Snape!!!
I'm glad the draught of peace potion works so well...though Ginny might need to brew some more quite soon. Having the empty dormitory to brew it in is good but what about gathering all the ingredients again? I did laugh at Ginny's thought about Harry knowing it was a contraband potion ( think that may have been last chapter) because it got me thinking of illegal drugs and people not realising they had taken them!
I'm wondering what other strange things have been happening to Harry....i presume since he started wearing the necklace. You are going to share aren't you at some point?
Harry and Ginny's respones to the words Mrs Chang gave them was very illuminating and made me sigh at this subtle reminder of just what harry has been through and is still going through. We really do take our families for granted...it was very poignant.
Author's Response: The bonded pendants are the jumping-off point for much of what happens between Harry and Ginny in the rest of the story. None of it is strange, just things that happen to bond them more tightly together as boyfriend and girlfriend due to Ginny's original premise that Harry needed to know he wasn't completely alone in the world. His responses to Mrs. Chang's word-association activity reflect that frame of mind, but I bet that if she gave him the same "test" at the end of this story, he'd have a very different set of answers. I'm glad you're continuing to enjoy this story. I look forward to your next revew.

How did McGonagall know about Hermione and Ginny making the potion in Myrtle's bathroom? I'm guessing that walls DO have ears!
Author's Response: My theory is that Professor McGonnagall has eyes in the back of her head and Extendable Ears magically positioned throughout the school. Either that, or she has some very discrete snitches. Take your pick. Thanks for the review. ~Arnel

This is NOT a review for the author...who, by the way is doing a fantastic job. It's for the rest of us.
Has anyone bothered to notice that less than 10% of theose who have read, or are reading this story have bothered to review/comment, or just say thanks. Our words are the only payment they get. No author is going to wind up rolling in pots of money, like JKR...at least not writing fan fiction. I, for one don't want to see THIS author lose interest because they feel there is a huge lack of interest, beyond the usual "update soon" command. Exactly what does an author say to that? "I'll update when the bloody chpater is written to my satisfaction"? These are not robots who churn out chapters on a daily basis. They like JKR, who took time off for her family, are real people, with real lives, real problems, and none of it has squat to do with HP. Think on this the next time you take a story or an author for granted.

Author's Response: You wrote this review nearly three years ago and I want you to know that I keep coming back to read it. I appreciate your words more that you know, as do the other writers who, like me, often don't get the number of reviews that the more popular authors get. We do appreciate the few who take the time to tell us they like our stories, but we also like looking at that little number called the "hit count" that tells us that people are reading our chapters even if they don't review. There's a certain satisfaction in knowing that. Anyway, I appreciate your rant and will come back again and again to read it.

wow.... this story and its prequel are both really good. I really hope you haven't abandoned this story as it is one of my favorites now. I can't wait for the next chapter (even if it takes several months.... i will wait. this story is worth it)
