ouch! i'll miss catrina.... she was one of my favorites too. that was a amzing fight scene between lucius and nathan, your ability to create new spells and people is simply amazing... welll off to the next chapter.
Author's Response: Catarina will be missed. And I'll let my beta know you thought the battle was good - he helped quite a bit with it. The new spells are fun - just don't ask me to pronounce them!

That was excellent!! You developed a very compelling character with Catarina and it is always difficult to kill off someone... more so I expect if it is a character of your own creation. You handled her sacrifice very well along with Nathan's reaction to the loss of his mother.
I'll be interested to see how things progress now that Malfoy knows where Nathan's loyalties lie.
Harry and Ginny's bonding was also very creative and intense. I look forward to them getting out of the Forbidden Forest and finding Madame Pomfrey so that they can complete the bonding ceremony.
Excellent chapter!! I can't wait for more!

I wailed, too. I have fallen in love with Catarina. I love her loyal cat.
The battle between Lucius and Nathan was exciting. It is good to see two sides shown by Slytherins.
The bond is becoming more and more an enigma. I wonder whether Borgin or Albus will be able to help Ginny and Harry complete the bond or will the bond naturally grow considering these youngsters already have their own natural bond prior to this magical bonding.
The Forbidden Forest. Ginny was thinking of a healer and landed in the forest. There must be a significance. Healing and bonding to be completed with the creatures of the forest perhaps? Centaurs? Unicorns? Fairies?
You are a lady writer? Why am I not surprised! Such a beacon of the fairer sex. Hurrah!
Author's Response: How can you not love that cat? :) You make a very interesting point about a natural bond between them...perhaps that would make their formal bond stronger??? Hmm...we shall have to wait and see. Also, excellent poing about the healing significance of the magical creatures in the forest - I was simply going more for Madam Pompfrey/Dumbeldore/Borgin but that would have been brilliant, too! Thank you!

It was broken??? Oh, the drama... and yes, I'm so sad that Catarina's dead and I'm really looking forward to seeing how Harry and Ginny get out of their situation.
One small note, from the beinging, I think you meant "breathe" and not "breath" Anyway, wonderful and I loved it.

Another wonderful chapter, although it was sad to see Catarina die. I guess Nathan's cover is blown... or will Malfoy not tell Voldie that Nathan saved Harry and Ginny? You always keep me on my toes. I hope that they're able to complete the bond soon, now that Voldemort can bond with Ginny.

Wow! This was a tremendously well done chapter. I loved it. I enjoyed Catarina, as well, but I think she planned that. Was that curse real or did she and Nathan really just pull a great fast one on Voldemort.
I love the curse going through Ginny and magnifying. Great stuff, well, not for Harry, but great stuff, anyway. But, they're still not bonded, right? Oh, I do hope they hurry up.
I really enjoyed this chapter.

knew it, I knew you were going to kill someone before this was over! *sniff* She was so great! How much more will Nathan have to suffer before this is all said and done? God, this is so sad! You're doing an amazing job with this fic, it seems to get better and better with each passing chapter, and I can't seem to et enough. Please, pleaseupdate soon. And what's wrong with Harry? I hope nothing too bad... Ginny would blame herself forever... How I wish Nathan had finished Malfoy once and for all! That scum would have been dealt with once and for all!

I can relate. I cried when I took out one of my young characters too! Great job with this chapter. I loved the suspense. I suspected that Caterina was going to die. but I thought that the bond was going to be successful. You are keeping me guessing well done.
