Er... No offence, but you've got a lot of the birthstones wrong. This is just an FYI, so don't think of it as a flame. It's a very good story, though!
Author's Response: None taken. If you go back and check, Bill mentions he did not use a traditional birthstone chart due to the age of the circlet. He used a Mystical One developed long ago. A version of such one can be found at http://www.bernardine.com/gemstones/birt hstones.htm.

I liked Hermione's reaction to Harry and Ginny keeping a secret. Ron with the Quidditch cup was cool too.
I loved the circlet ceremony, it was beautiful... especially the bit with Ron and Hermione claiming Harry as family. :-)
Anna approached Harry and Ginny. "Now, you two, I'm terribly sorry to say, but you've just contacted a highly contagious case of Wizard Pox." I assume you mean contracted?
The scenes where they work the new ribbons into the bond were nicely done too.
You'd think St Mungos would be charmed to keep the rats out... ;-) Poor Anna...
Author's Response: What a wonderful review! Thank you! You know, I struggled over the St. Mungos bit - I'm not sure I'm still happy with how it turned out but I had to give up on it and move on. There were too many things to work in and that one had to be the weak link. Live and learn, eh?

Welcome back! Hope your holiday treck across the country was a well earned break. Loved the ceremony, it was perfect. I'm glad that you included what each person had to say, and leave it to Ron to get it right. Snape gone forever? Really, are you sure?? Hmm, well... I'm not. (Continuing to flunk out of Divination) Was that Wormtail busting Narcissa out of St. Mungos? What he doesn't get himself into! Loved the part about Anna telling Nathan that a daughter would be kinder to her ankles, oh so true! Things are moving along now, aren't they? As far as your Divination score goes, I wouldn't be dropping that class just yet. And yes, Nathan isn't going to take Anna's disappearance very well at all.
