Oh, I'm glad you're back! Got a little worried you might have hit a plot snag or something. ;) This chapter was altogether too funny! Honestly, those two... Funny thing: I always thought it would be interesting if Harry and Ginny found a common ground in Hermione and Ron's relationship. I loved the way you interpreted that idea here! You did a superb job of keeping track of all the characters involved. Ron's rueful acknowledgement that Beverly had a reason to desert him and his utter thick-headed-ness; Hermione's pass-word and inability to understand that books can't help everything; Harry's determination to hear his friend out, in spite of feeling that Ron needs a wake-up call; and of course, Ginny's eavesdropping and all her private thoughts about the whole situation were wonderfully on target. I suppose I could have just said I liked everything, couldn't I...? Never let it be said that I ever failed to take the long way round. :P Very nice set up you have here! I'm still looking forward to seeing what Harry has to teach Ginny. :)
