Don't usually read one shots since they are usually to small to really get a good story across though will say you did an exellent job on yours really did enjoy it loved the flashbacks and how you did kinda of a filler peice and I think you hit Ginny on the head char wise alot better than most out there not thinking she would stay home do think you were right she was his reason to win the war and she knew that and acted accordingly so she would still be there for him.

In character. Elegantly written. Well paced. A near-perfect balance of humour and fluff. Best thing I've read all day, in short.
There were a few bits around the first couple of POV changes that seemed a bit jumpy, but that's all.

Hi , thanks so much for the greeat story!!Finally a fanfiction that has interpreted Ginny correctly.The other stories about her being mad at Harry just dont seem to fit her character. I personally think Ginny is more sensible and understanding than most people depict her.I reallt enjoyed your story and am looking forward to reading more.

hi. can't seem to stop myself from reviewing your stories. they're just too darn good.:) thanks again for sharing another story with us. i have to agree with the other reviewer who said that this is one version of the break up that isn't so sad as the others are. you know, reading how others are interpreting the break-up makes me want to cry because i'm afraid that book 7 will actually end up with harry and ginny being forced apart after getting finally getting together. i hope that your version is the one we get to see. cheers.

Author's Response: Ahhhh, (blushes) thank you! That's the biggest compliment - that you have so much to say.
You know, from a purely sturctural point of view - I believe that the brevity of their relationship and the separation is setting up the happy ending. If she were really going to kill either of them they would have been left together. She is setting up the stakes - OoTP put his life on the line, now it's also about his personal happiness.
And I do the same - if the author even hints there are more updates somewhere eles, I hunt them down. Hee. Thank you again!

Again! I'm reviewing! This is kind of weird since I almost NEVER review (yes, bad I know). But you've thoroughly managed to win me over.
But I had planned to write a wedding HG fic too and now I'm stuck, after reading this. It was of a similar plt and storyline. All your fault! Just kidding.
This is brilliant. It's so.......well......it just feels right, you know? Again, comparing this to many, many other BFwedding HG fics, this seems not so incredibly sad and morbid (like many others I've read including a prologue that I have to one of my stories...ugh i love bashing myself over the head), and with just the right amount of humour mixed in.
The part where you describe Harry doing wandless magic is wonderful. And I don't think that you had anything to worry about with the dragon scene in Bumbling. It was very well done. Everyone in your stories are characterized; even the freaking dragon has a hilarious personality. Loves it!
Wow. I have now done enough sucking-up to last me an entire lifetime.
Write more!! because the only thing that disappoints me is that you haven't updated.

Do not let anything I have written stop you from writing your own. I always have most of the story planned - with several key scenes written in advance before I post. And every once in a while I read a fic that has ideas so similar to something I have in the works that I think "ah crud, people are going to think this wasn't mine," but you have to do it anyway. Just find a way to make it your own. We had a lot more room to work with after OoTP - we could write thousands of different "how they got togethers". But this time around what we have been given is narrowed. We know how they got together. We know pretty much what Harry is going to be doing next year. Hell - we even know the next time they see each other is likely the wedding. So I figure we are going to see a lot of people with similar ideas. It might be a harder two years - we just need to figure out how to spice it up.
And wow - thank you so much for what you said about my characters! And this isn't sucking up - it's just making me happy!
