Another great chapter... Sometimes I want to ask authors such as you exactly _how_ they manage to write so well and so fast. And then I say, ah well, better not jinx it. There's one thing that sort of puzzles me in this chapter, though; Harry never asked Rowena if she knew how to 'un-Horcrux' the harp, or if it was even possible without harming her or the harp. Knowing Harry, and knowing that Rowena would most likely have no way to communicate once she was back in 'normal spacetime', I'd have thought that it would be the first question he would ask. She is, after all, the best placed to know the answer. Even if she couldn't answer, it would have been nice for her to know he cared... I just hope that doesn't mean she'll die - again - in the process. That would be terribly cliché, after all, and not nearly as fun as keeping her around. Please don't kill her!

Author's Response: Ah yes . . .Rowena the guardian. She is the 'spirit' of Ravenclaw if you will, personified by the harp. Ever read the children's story about the golden harp? Sort of like that. She isn't exactly real . . .but she is real. And on that confusing note, I'll leave you to read the next chapter!

perhaps the most interstesting aspect of this chapter in my view was the fact that 'He' was never named... the question is.. who is, or was, 'he'? Could it have been Snape, as other reviewers have suggested? perhaps... I'm inclined to think it was more likely to be Slughorn myself, after all, he was the potions professor after Riddle left hogwarts, it would have been his office, and he knew that Riddle was interested in Horcruxes... is it that much of a stretch that he would have known whatt had been done to the Harp and taken the relevant steps to prevent it? of course that also implies that Slughorn knew a lot more than he has ever let on.... I look forward to seeing where this story goes next.....

Author's Response: Ah yes, and would Slughorn have taken on the dangers involved? Slytherins as a rule are rather self-centered and self-serving. Glad you picked up on the generic 'he' :D

One of my favorite things about this story is... I can't tell where it is going! Or rather, it's not easily unscrambled, and is very suspenseful. Keep up the great writing. I can't wait to read the rest :)

Author's Response: Thanks - I think! Actually, sometimes the story seems to write itself, especially as the characters take on their own personalities.

Excellent, truly excellent. I enjoyed your version of Rowena Ravenclaw, as she was protrayed away from her fellows. That is something that is seldom done. I liked your last paragraph a great deal-- it was excellenly written. Perfect ten, you expected less? -PhoenixAeternum

Auth or's Response: Ah well, you never know. :D I've always been curious about the original founders of Hogwarts. Salazar Slytherin (at least his statue in CoS) is portrayed as a small, monkeyish man, so I thought I'd give Rowena a go. Glad you liked!

Ah, well done -- you've answered some questions ... and raised others (of course!). Excellent story-telling! I look forward to finding out what the next pohase of the adventure is.

Author's Response: Of course - questions MUST be reaised. :D Keep reading!

Rowena's harp has shown it's lovely face. Well done. Does this mean the the cup can be used against Helga's will, since it's most likely off hogwarts grounds. Or is it. Hmmmm. Leave us wondering there. or could it be in some other place of power? Even the ministry? Another great chapter, sorry i haven't tried your IM, but i have yet to get yours. And if you've read PhoenixAeterum's Fate's debt yet, get ready to cast curses at him for the cliff hangers.. Hope to chat soon LOL Jim

Author's Response: This story has been lots of fun to write! sometimes it takes twists and turns I wasn't even aware it was going to make until it made them! Ah well, it all sorts itself out eventually.

Heir of Gryffindor, eh? Hmm. I liked Rowena Ravencalsw, but Ithought her words seemed to indicate that Snape knew Harry would find the harp, and was actually protecting it FROM Voldemort. More questions then ever. I look forward to more.

Author's Response: Yes. Exactly. But why would he want to do that? I mean, there is no doubt that Snape killed Dumbledore. I'll be interested myself to see where this is going.
