AWw. I love this story. In this Chappie with harry and ginny?...I loved it! THe whole "I can't pay him with something that is no longer mine to give." perfect!...and i was really scared there for a sec you were going to let Ginny go to Tom! NO!....but yeah keep it up!
Author's Response: Nah. But I had to prove that she can't be used - that is a big key as the story unfolds.

This story is getting better and better. I really like it. Can't wait for the next chapter. (One small pet(ty) peeve: "loose" as in one's trousers so that they fall down or to "lose" as in losing one's heart. Seems to be a common typo even with the best stories!).

Hmmm... Well done, of course. I was quite pleased to see Harry & Ginny's reunion, as well as Harry's realization (and declaration of same) that Ginny's been part of the effort since her first year.
I was surprised that folks would handle the locket so nonchalantly, though, especially once it was believed to be a Horcrux.
Ginny appears to have had excellent reason for her reluctance to handle it, certainly. :-}
I was concerned (at first) that Ginny was going to be re-experiencing the CoS events -- I thought she was stronger than that now. It seems that you have a similar percption on that score, which I appreciate.
Hmm... does the manifestation of Tom that possessed Ginny have a connection to the "real" Tom? If so, might Tom have rather more of a clue than he had had until recently what Harry is up to (with respect to the "search and destroy mission" againist the Horcruxes)?
Ginny's closing declaration with respect to her heart was quite apropos; I hope Harry appreciates it (and lets her know just how he regards her).
Author's Response: The locket was handled with less than the proper care - yes. But we are dealing with teenage wizards and, in spite of Dumbledore's injury, I think they feel 'immune' on several counts. First, they handled this same locket at Grimmauld Place when they were cleaning out the cupboards and no one got hurt. Secondly, I think they were half hoping that it had already been destroyed. So, it took Ginny's peculiar bond with Tom (he - or it - recognized her somehow, and the Horcrux opened for her while no one else was able to open it). As for which 'aspect' of Tom's awareness was in the locket - I think you'll have to wait for the story to develop! Don't want to risk any giveaways. :D

Great chapter! I was quite frightened there, for a moment. I was so freaked out that you were going to have Harry duel Ginny/Tom there for a moment, as I have seen in other fics.
Nice to know my fears were unfounded.
Let me say that my liking of your work borders on hero-worship, so please, update any and all active stories as soon as is feasible!

That was really good. I loved the line about him not being able to take what was no longer hers to give. Sigh. I really felt for Harry at the end there too, thinking he was watching yet another person die on him.
I'm very curious about this sleeping for four weeks, however. I'm guessing it was Snape, and he performed his own Fidelius there for a while, but who was the Secret Keeper? And why? He appears to be protecting Harry, but why did he need him out of the way for four weeks?
And oh, no! The Burrow. I can't give you a hard time - I did it, too after all, but - gasp! The Burrow!
Author's Response: The Burrow has to go, it HAS to! It's too perfect of a target. Now, as for the sleeping for four weeks, not only did Harry 'sleep' through the Burrow's destruction (an attack aimed at him) but through the attack on Privet Drive (did you catch that one? I sort of tucked it away in the Newspaper article). So someone who knew something about both of those attacks wanted Harry out of the way. Hmmm.
