I didn't seriously think I would be able to keep myself occupied until graduation by just reading your stories, but since graduation is tomorrow and I have a lot of time to read....I think it might just happen. Weird. Anyway, I am liking this story. I don't know if I like it as much as your others but it is a pretty close call. I have to get to bed, once again it is 1am and I have to get up at 7am to perform....so bed for me. More reading in the afternoon. Thanks for writing so brilliantly! -Katie Reviewer: Ender Signed Date: 2005.12.24 - 05:33PM Title: REPRIEVE Your writing style is uncannily similar to JKR's- and many professional writers I like to read. That means, of course, that it's superb. Your command over the language is also very good. I would give you an O on the last two counts.
Now the reason I stopped to review at this point rather than continue to read this excellent story (which I will do as soon as I complete this review) is this- Dumbledore's picture is not moving? And Aberforth has dissapeared? Mycroft, Sherlock Holme's brother was the only one who knew the reality when Sherlock suppodely died. Do these two clues together tell us something? Well I suppose I'll find out eventually. Reviewer: Kerian Anonymous Date: 2005.11.24 - 08:02PM Title: REPRIEVE Wow Wow Wow! This is such an amazing well developed, powerful story that I honestly don't know what to say. It seems like a true book with the way you're planting clues that re-emerge a few chapters! Oh and when will Harry realize the the mirror he found at his house is Godric's? I will definetly be keeping tabs on this story! Please update soon! Reviewer: General Kenobi Signed Date: 2005.11.22 - 09:07PM Title: REPRIEVE Where is the new chapter? Or was a chapter re-writen? *is confused* Reviewer: !!!@@@!!! Anonymous Date: 2005.11.22 - 12:32PM Title: REPRIEVE sweet, and b e a utiful at the same time...!!! I absolutly loved it, more FLUFF MORE! Reviewer: Norman Barnes Anonymous Date: 2005.11.20 - 04:22PM Title: REPRIEVE Excellent chapter. A really good story. Reviewer: Sibling Creature Anonymous Date: 2005.11.20 - 02:46PM Title: REPRIEVE I have to agree with Wolfs_Scream regarding the discussion of the horcrux aloud in the common room... I did a double-take when I saw it, but then I assumed there was a time lapse between that and the previous paragraph which described it as being packed, and that by the time that discussed it they were the only ones left. Reviewer: sshenry luvr Anonymous Date: 2005.11.20 - 08:41AM Title: REPRIEVE write again quickly.l Superb. Just as good as jk rowling. Reviewer: Coconut-ice Anonymous Date: 2005.11.19 - 05:28PM Title: REPRIEVE 0_0 wow. Loved this fic! Usually stories (and I really don't mean to offend anyone! I love it also!) are just pure Ginny and Harry, forget the plot, its all romantic writing about how their issues, but this, yay! Loved it! Could you please email me when you update? This fic looks like it shall be my new favourite on this site! Its perfect. shadow_eater62@hotmail.com Reviewer: Wolfs_Scream Signed Date: 2005.11.18 - 03:28PM Title: REPRIEVE OK; the scene at McGonagall's office comes together well.
But after that, at the (Gryffindor) common room, why does Hermione (the clever one, right?) actually mention the word "Horcrux" out loud??!? (Especially in a context that implies that (part of) their group was actually handling one!
I like Harry's bit of introspection & reflection, especially regarding Ginny & his relationship with her.
Ron "channeling Dumbledore?" Heh! And Harry seems to be talking out loud a bit more often than he realizes.... :-}
McGonagall's approach to salesmanship is ... amusing. :-} (I'm reminded of the concept of giving a person an offer he can't refuse. :-})
Well! *That* certainly achieved a measure of clarity regarding the Ron-Hermione relationship! :-)
And I see that Harry *did* manage to communicate to Ginny in an ... effective ... way. Good on him! :-)
[Please note that questions I pose in these comments merely indicate areas that I expect you'll want to address in your narrative; they are thus somewhat rhetorical, in that I'm not really expecting an answer. per se. And I figure that they (as well as the non-question comments) help illustrate what went on in my mind as I was reading your story; I hope that this provides you a bit of amusement. :-)] Reviewer: PhoenixAeternum Anonymous Date: 2005.11.18 - 03:15PM Title: REPRIEVE Great stuff!
I really liked your Ron/Hermione moment. Ron scared the bejesus out of me, I don't think I've ever read something, that wasn't a Ron-bashing fic, that had Ron as quite that... cold. Really excellently done though, I wasn't sure if he was going to run off to kiss Tom's robes, or shag her where she stood. Nice to see the latter was closer to it.
I think what you did with Ron asking Harry about the mirror was great. Even though, like Melindaleo, I wanted to smack him upside his, evidently, thick skull. You did a great job of capturing how Ron would react in a situation where he realises he's made a mistake of the magnititude that he did.
Great job, as always.

I was ready to smack Ron upside the head when he was talking to Harry about Sirius's mirror, but you captured him so perfectly, and I loved how once he realized the path he'd let Harry down, he changed the subject and allowed Harry to collect himself.
I loved the confrontation between Ron and Hermione, too. Ron scared me! I'll be interested to see how Harry handles teaching the students in his own year. Hmm, good stuff. | |||||||
