In reaction to your author's note - I completely agree with you about all that you've stated in regards to the past two chapters.

In regards to the story it's self: I absolutely love it. This could possibly be the second time I've reviewed it, but then again this is my second time reading it because I forgot where I left off at last - So I just started to read it again. I love it, you are an amazing author :) Keep it up and I look forward to reading the rest of it.

Whew, what facinating story. I agree with you on the abuse part. I wonder to myself how Harry ended up the way he was, with his horrible childhood. Technically, he should not be confident, should be horrible at social interations, and...well, he technically might not be able to have children. But the Harry we know are not any of those things, really. O_O; Hm.

Anyway, yes, it would rather boring if Harry was infallible. I once came upon a super popular story (still is, I believe), which was fantastic until the author painted Harry was invincible. =/ Not really my cup of tea, as I got bored very quickly, though others still liked it, which is fine.

I think one of my favorite parts during this story was when Harry's wand rolled away from him and he felt self-pity. It was that funny twist, yet absolute sympathy at the same time. I also liked Ron's assertiveness very much. ^_^ Great chapter.

Alright, I really love how you twisted things to show that even the most miniscule events change the future! I love love love it! I like where you are heading and sit on the edge of my seat reading this. it's really good, and I think you are bloody brilliant!

I like heroes who stay human.... Harry is no god. Miss Rowling makes that more than clear. He is a mature young man, sure, but nothing supernatural. So, if he makes a mistake - espacially something like overestimating himself ;) - is totally in order and totally Harry Potter, since this guy gets himself injured more through stupidity than bad intensions of his foes ^^

That for that, I like your story. You are an outstanding writer, and again, I maybe will steal some quotes outof it, since our writingstyles are sort of simular.

Dont mind my horrble spelling though, I am german, not too much experience in writing in english ^^ Hope ya keep going on this, its fun to read :)

Hullo! I've been reading your story so far, and decided it was time to review. I have really enjoyed it thus far. Great job! It's a very interesting idea. The only thing that concerns me is your interpretation of Dumbledore. You'd think he'd be a bit more concerned about Harry then that. In OotP he sent Petunia a Howler for the Dursley's even trying to kick him out. You'd think he'd sweep down to Number 4 and give them a piece of his mind for doing such a thing to Harry! I suppose this review doesn't really matter (seeing as how so many other chapters are already posted). Other then that small grievance, this is a fantastic story!! Very well done :)

Author's Response: Actually, Dumbledore did a bit more than that, right after Christmas of that year... only someone anticipated it...

I like your analogy in the Author’s notes about the answer key and someone changing the questions on him. Yes, that is part of the trick. Unless he did everything exactly the same, which he isn’t, there’s no way that there wouldn’t be a ripple effect. That’s why I was so surprised when he went after Snape so aggressively on his first night back at Hogwarts. This is also why I think he needs to confide in Dumbledore. They need to get the Horcruxes NOW before Voldemort is resurrected. With the timeline shifting, he can’t know when that will be. God love the Weasleys, all of them. I’m disappointed that Dumbledore wasn’t more concerned about Harry’s current health and instead wanted to discuss where he would need to go. Someone removed the memory charm? Hmmmm. Well, yes, Harry can no longer rely on what he thinks he knows. I wouldn’t say he was ever complacent, but he did rely on it too much. This was a terrible lesson to learn, but better now rather than during a confrontation with a death eater or Voldemort. Difficult to read, yes, but very well done!
