"but they will eventually get their own wands, won’t they?”

This implies that Hermione knows, yes?

I'm loving it! But I found one little thing that bugged me. Hehe. Okay, this is logically speaking, the story is yours to with as you will, and I'll not complain until I see how it all unfolds. But Harry was trying to get Sirius out of Azkaban early. But if you stop and think about it, Sirius being allowed out of Azkaban before Yr. 3 would completely change the turn of events in Potterverse. It would in essence eliminate all necessity of book 3, because everything that happened in book 3 happened leading up to the release of Sirius Black. It would also have him released legally, so that he was not on the run, and thusly NOT locked in Grimmauld Place for the 4th and 5th books, which would prevent his flee to the Ministry of Magic in Order of the Pheonix - Which was done so he did not feel so useless. He would of course still go to the aid of Harry, but he might not be so determined to prove his usefullness - if he is even in the vicinity to help at all. So, he may not die at the Ministry, but it could cause his death somewhere else. Because without being stuck at Grimmauld Place, he'd be sent on Missions for the Order, and thusly hightening his chances of dying. Okay, yeah, that was all theoretical of course, and... blah. Just my take. I'm profusely enjoying your story though, and I REALLY look forward to see how you twist things and how they turn out - Being an author myself, I understand the fun in creating, and also the fun in holding a reader suspended above a huge drop *wink*

Fred and George catching the leaping Harry. Funny. I wonder how long you’re going to take to get things worked out for occlumency. I just want to know how long Harry will have to lie to his friends. It’s good he said what he did to Ginny (and earlier to Hermione) so that they know he wants to be honest but can’t. Neville seems to suspect something as well, or, at least, he’s respectful of Harry’s secrets. Ron… well, you gotta love him, clueless as he sometimes is. I can’t believe Molly would let the Knight Bus take them home first. Wouldn’t she be sure to see Harry safely home? Well, I’m glad my questions about Ginny’s crush seem to be unfounded. It’s cute to see them all flustered, especially Harry considering his unique situation and age. Puberty part 2. Ugh. I don’t envy him that. Great job!

I love the line about the exams confirming Hermione's brilliance *dont remember the exact wording* but that made me laugh out loud and repeat it to my husband and cat (:

Author's Response: I have a friend like that... and she always brought out my sarcastic side as well...

I really Like it. Please keep updating. I agree this will probably end up biting him in the back. He may change one thing for the better but he will change something else for the far worse. So far So good . I going to have to pace myself because I am getting attached to this peice.

Author's Response: The back-biting is going to get pretty bad in a few chapters...

I love seeing Harry's inner-Slytherin in action!

Author's Response: Those parts are fun to write. Harry grew up during the future war. The sorting hat was right... he had the qualities to make a good Gryffindor, or a good Slytherin. He eventually learned to use BOTH halves of his nature to achieve his goals.
