I'm a beta reader, so if you need one, hit me up. When I am working on something, I appreciate having an open, creative mind to bounce ideas off of, check me on my thinking, and catch the little things that take a story and make it great. I enjoy playing that role nearly as much as I like writing my own ideas.
Some of my favorite writers are Brandon Sanderson, C.S. Lewis, Douglas Adams, Frederick Beuchner, Shakespeare, Dahl, and Rowling. Along with being a Harry Potter nut, I'm passionate about comic book superheroes and Star Wars. I love anything that makes me think, laugh, or (ideally) both.
I love the SIYE challenges. If you aren't participating in those, you should! Every two months I get to tell a new story, and it's usually in a style or voice that I might not have otherwise played with. Pretty cool opportunity!
